We first announced the Furry Life Grid on September 4th, 2008, on this website. The project was only days old and yet we still managed a log in from California to our server in Iowa. It was free of lag but also devoid of content. We have not enabled public log ins yet as we have been building infrastructure and setting up a website, database, servers, and bandwidth to handle the load. This is a low-budget early alpha project that we hope will bloom into something grand. The Furry Life Grid is a joint project between Mina Kitsune, Kevin Keeney, and Jason Hodder, and is based on the OpenSimulator virtual world technology.
November 18, 2009 We started talking with a third party to manage the Furry Life Grid servers and try to get this product open to the public. It has been a slow process to come this far but as with all things it takes time.
