Welcome to Lop Ear Purlieu Estate on the Web! Thank you for taking interest in us. LEP Estate is a quiet group of residential regions in Second Life without a lot of rules to ruin your enjoyment, just enough to keep things peaceful and pretty. For those who value stability, LEP has been in business for over three years with no changes in ownership or management. We usually have a few vacant rental parcels in the estate, so be sure to check them out if you like what you see!
The first rule of Lop Ear Purlieu Estate is "respect". We don't like people treating each other badly here. We don't care what your species is; LEP is home to humans, nekos, furries, ferals, and possibly wandering blobs of fruit-filled Jell-O. Also, being a Mature-rated estate, we don't care what sort of kinks you have, how (or if) you dress, if you feel like carrying around weapons...none of that matters. Just don't hassle others and you'll be fine. With that in mind, we do have a covenant that gets into more details and answers some frequent questions.
The original region of LEP Estate is Falcon Forest, notable for its large volcano and numerous waterways winding through the land. Falcon Forest contains the estate administration office and our stargate, and it has several public areas for you to visit (including the interior of that volcano). Feel free to hang around or even leave your avatar idling on a poseball if you want.
Isle Des Lapins is our newer region, featuring a Japanese-tropical environment. Enjoy the peaceful Japanese Garden.
If you're interested in renting a parcel in Lop Ear Purlieu Estate, there are several ways to find out what's available. The quickest way is to use your map! Open up your map and make sure the "Land for Sale" option in the upper-right is checked. Available parcels will be shown with yellow boxes. A second way is to use our map tables, which show the rent boxes for the sim you are in and allow you to quickly teleport to available spaces. A third way is to check our vendors, which show available parcels along with their prices and prim allocations. You can find landmarks to the rent tables and vendors attached below.
Once you've decided to rent some land, take the lease for one linden dollar by using the "Buy Land" menu item. Then pay the rent box sitting next to the parcel. The description in the "About Land" window will give you the box's coordinates if you can't find it right away (some of our parcels are large!), or you can use the map table to teleport you directly to it. That's all there is to it! Now you can begin building on your new land. If you have questions, you can contact an estate manager. Their names are listed in the in-world covenant.
Here are some landmarks you can use to find vendors, map tables, jet skis and hang-out spots in Lop Ear Purlieu Estate.
